Addenbrookes’s Hospital Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contract
Project Overview
K&H Medical Ltd were awarded a 5-year Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) contract at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, a leading teaching hospital and major centre for specialist care in Cambridge.
The contract also extends to additional sites within the Trust, including Kefford House IVF Clinic and Princess of Wales Hospital, forming a multi-site maintenance agreement across the region.
Scope of Works
The contract includes the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive support of key medical gas systems across all three sites, including:
- 5 Medical Air Plants – inspection and servicing
- 5 Vacuum Plants – inspection and servicing
- 7 Manifolds – routine inspection and compliance checks
All works are carried out in accordance with HTM 02-01 guidelines, ensuring full compliance with NHS standards and best practice.

Our engineers utilise K&H’s in-house PPM documentation and asset tracking systems, allowing for accurate reporting and full traceability of all maintenance activities.

- Scheduled PPM visits across all plant and manifold systems
- Responsive call-out support for system faults and issues
- Identification and completion of remedial works
- Detailed reporting and electronic documentation for audit compliance
