K&H Medical Ltd has recently been required to install major Plant upgrades to many of the HCA managed private Hospitals, including the Portland Hospital, which now has an upgraded Medical Air Plant.

The new Triplex Compact Screw Compressor Medical Air Plant provides an output of 1200L/M primary supply. The Plant is backed up by a new ERM (Emergency Reserve Manifold), consisting of two banks of three cylinders, which is connected to the Medical Air mains pipework providing a secondary supply and should be sufficient to supply the hospital for many years to come.
