K&H Medical Ltd has installed a new laboratory gas system in the seven-storey Fogg Building at Queen Mary’s University. The extent of the Laboratory gas installations includes new medical gas manifold system equipment on the 6th floor to provide new supplies of Helium, Oxygen, Argon/CH4, Carbon Dioxide, Hydrogen, Compressed Air, Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen Free Nitrogen.

The laboratory gases are piped using Swagelok type connection high purity stainless steel and supply a total of 18 new outlet points within the laboratory area. A new regulator is also installed to the existing Nitrogen pipework which supplies a further 3 outlet points. 2 new plant alarms are installed to monitor the newly installed equipment. The Fogg Building provides teaching and specialist biohazard Laboratories for 70 staff and 1300 students.
